Golden Deli, you may not need to be told, is one of the best Vietnamese noodle shops in Southern California, a well-worn citadel of banh hoi and pho in a busy San Gabriel mini-mall.

Pho is really all about the broth. Here it is silky with subtle yet complex flavors. It's the benchmark for which to judge every other pho in the SGV.

don't leave without getting the baked egg and egg rolls - they are the best in all of la. i usually get it with the charbroiled pork rice plate. and the lime soda! the food here makes me so happy.
