Very good Japanese food, but you have to choose wisely, some plates are expensive and not worth it.

Bigger space than next door's yakitori spot. Good, cheap Japanese yakitori and ramen.

Good place to go for a cheap meal, izakaya style. Assortment of Japanese style tapas and ramen.

Oishee! Gyosa and kimchi both are very authentic, okonomiyaki are also great. Edamame were served cold, which is uncommon. Prices are very friendly just like the service

The grilled items are pretty delicious. Chicken skin wasnt that amazing and their appetizers like takoyaki and yakisoba was really not that great. Skip apps and go for bbq.

Super delicious, cheap Japanese bbq. Totally hits the spot and is now my regular stop on my way home from Astor Place

My friend swears by the Supa Tuna Don, and they're out...so...to be continued.

I honestly wouldn't recommend the fried chicken here but the chicken skin and chicken gizzard on a stick are great ! I also had the octopus in wasabi cold dish and it's great for sharing.

Nearly identical to Yakitori Taisho a few doors down, Oh! Taisho has a solid line up of yakitori, noodles and rice-based dishes, and sake. Come early to avoid the line.

Everything is good here. If you're shy about some yakitori, they have friendlier options for those not into gizzards, squid etc. Huge beer sizes! Come hungry and try an array of items.

Además de los yakitoris, muy recomendables los langostinos con mostaza dulce.
