The best pho is *eaten in* instead of taken out, when the pho soup is steaming hot and you throw in raw meat, pho noodles, and bean sprouts. Pho #7, #8, #9 are great (semi-raw beef and tendon).

I second the recommendation to order spring rolls with lettuce wrap and mint. This place is perfect on a cold day - low key and good for conversation.

Get the spring rolls. Wrap them in lettuce with a sprig of mint and dip. Goes down nicely with a Tsingtao.
