It looks bad outside, but the food is nicer than you will think. The price is reasonable, and you do feel like you are at a small local Japanese restaurant in Japan.

Outdoor seating on kenmare is fantastic - great people watching. Get an asahi on tap for $6 and sit back!

Pass on the ridiculous box sushi prices at nearby D&D, and go for the $8 lunch special here (two rolls, miso soup, salad) instead.

Get the lunch special, either a two or three roll special. Comes with miso and salad. Great value.

This place has never steered me wrong. The only mistake I've made here was misjudging just how much sushi the dinner for two would be. It's HUEG.

Lunch special is a great deal. Salad. Miso soup. And a ton of fresh sushi and sashimi. Do an after market upgrade on the California roll ---> spicy tuna roll for $1 more

The lunch sets (bento box and/or 2-piece sushi) are good value. Max table size is a 4-top, though, so don't bring the whole office with you.
