Doesn't matter when it is, hot pot is always a good idea. Don't forget the noodles & the veggie platter!

The half and half hot pot is so good. To put in your hot pot: lamb wontons, hot pot dumplings, beef: all good choices!

Take your pick of a variety of proteins, vegetables, and starches at this Mongolian hotpot restaurant. You can't go wrong with almost anything, but a unique item here is the fish roe soup dumpling.

The food is great, BUT the service is extremely bad. Won't come back.

Best hot pot I've found in NYC so far: good soup, good sauce. Portions are small but not too pricy. Service? Just be a little pushy, it's hot pot...DIY is kinda the point

The Queens branch of the international hot pot chain. If it's your first time, get the half-and-half broth: part mild, part spicy.

Fish balls with roe and the pork belly are must haves! Make sure when cooking the pork belly have it unroll completely before popping it into your mouth! The meat is way more tender than the beef :)

Good food ruined by terrible service. Asked multiple times for forks, and drinks and was ignored. Waitress had the nerve to chase us down begging for more tips.
